it's not a fucking wedding!

these were Master's words at one point as W/we talked of Him collaring me.

early on, i expressed my wish to have a collaring ceremony that would be a major event. i pictured a ceremony where i would have attendants. i would enter, resplendent in my designer gown while trumpeters played "fanfare for the common man" by aaron copland.

the reception decor would consist of lots of cream, white and beige. tall trees, up lit with soft blue lights that would tower over everyone in a romantic scene straight from dr. zhivago. the catered food would be displayed beautifully and a harpist would play classical music.

Master just listened, and smiled.

i soon came to my senses and understood that this solemn occasion must be private as it has nothing to do with anyone else. no lifestyle priest or judge had anything whatsoever to do with the promise i made to Master. pomp and circumstance was not appropriate for U/us. i am not a princess and this was far too serious to turn it into a circus. this was something that for U/us was much deeper in significance than a marriage...more binding and enduring than anything else imaginable.  there must be no distractions for this special event. it was perfect in every way and i cherish the fact that it was private, very simple and extraordinarily powerful.

thank You Master!
